Putin held a phone conversation with Orban

At Hungary’s request, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

Axar.az informs, citing the Kremlin press service, Putin informed Orban about the content of his recent discussion with U.S. President Donald Trump.

“Vladimir Putin briefed on the main points of his conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump,” the Kremlin statement said following the call between the two leaders.

The press service noted that during upcoming contacts with American representatives, Russia plans to discuss the next steps toward finding ways for a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, including the possibility of holding a future Russia-U.S. summit in the Hungarian capital.

In turn, Prime Minister Viktor Orban expressed his readiness to provide the necessary conditions for organizing a potential Russia-U.S. summit in Budapest.
