EU politicians may try to sabotage US-Russia summit

Some European Union politicians will resort to provocations to disrupt the planned summit between the presidents of Russia and the United States in Budapest.

Axar.az reports that Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó stated this.

He emphasized that the interest of European leaders is not peace, but the continuation of the conflict.

The minister did not rule out that in the coming weeks or days, there may be various initiatives aimed at preventing the summit from taking place.

He also noted that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán remains the only politician in Europe capable of establishing close relations with both the Russian and U.S. presidents, and that is precisely why the meeting is planned to be held in Budapest.
