Lithuania may close Belarus border Kaliningrad transit

Against the background of the entry of air balloons into the region, the border with Belarus should be closed permanently or transit to Kaliningrad should be restricted.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda.

“It is expected that the government will propose these measures in the coming days. The options being discussed should include the long-term closure of the border with Belarus and the introduction of restrictions on transit to Kaliningrad,” Nauseda said.
