South Africa denies Trump-Putin meeting plans

At this stage, we have no confirmation that such a meeting will be held.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Vincent Magwenya, an official of the President of the Republic of South Africa, while commenting on the possible meeting of the US leader and the Russian president on the sidelines of the G20 meeting in Johannesburg.

It should be noted that earlier, Finnish President Alexander Stubb stated in his statement that US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin could meet at the G20 summit to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa (CAR) at the end of November.
