Syrian and US Presidents discuss bilateral ties

During talks at the White House with US President Donald Trump, Syrian President Ahmad Shara discussed strengthening bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Axar.az reports that this information was released by the office of the Syrian leader.

“The discussions focused on bilateral relations between the Syrian Arab Republic and the United States, ways to strengthen and develop them, as well as a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest,” the statement said.

It was also noted that Syrian Foreign Minister Asad Sheybani and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio attended the meeting.
