Russia launches final push for Donetsk control

The Russian army is carrying out its final maneuver in Pokrovsk to capture the entire Donetsk region.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, in an interview with The New York Post.

He admitted that the situation for Ukrainian troops on the front line is extremely difficult:

“The Russian Armed Forces are conducting a strategic offensive operation. They are concentrating the main part of their forces to break through our defensive lines and cut off our supply routes,” he said.
