Erdogan: All forces mobilized after Georgia plane crash

We first spoke by phone with the President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and then with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze. We are thoroughly investigating this tragic event, which deeply saddens our nation, as well as our Azerbaijani brothers and Georgian friends. The Georgian government authorities are providing the highest level of assistance and cooperation in this process. Similarly, our Azerbaijani brothers and sisters are also providing all kinds of support and contributions.

Axar.az reports that these words were spoken by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"My nation can rest assured that all the capabilities of Turkiye, Georgia, and Azerbaijan have been mobilized for our heroes. We are monitoring field operations daily. We will ensure that the necessary investigations are carried out seriously and that all aspects of the incident are fully clarified.

Our Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Communications are regularly informing the public and will continue to do so. I call on our people to be vigilant against lies, manipulation, and disinformation. I advise them, especially on social networks, not to believe those who are so low as to use such an incident for dirty political interests," Erdogan added.

It should be noted that yesterday, a C-130 military cargo plane belonging to the Turkish Armed Forces crashed in Georgia. All 20 people on board died as a result of the accident.
