Russia rejects claims Azerbaijani Embassy was hit

Russia has denied Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevost's statement that the Azerbaijani embassy in Kyiv was damaged by the Russian army.

Axar.az reports that the Russian embassy in Belgium called these accusations "unfounded and hastily made."

The Russian embassy's statement claims that the damage to the Azerbaijani embassy may have been caused by the remains of missiles fired by the US-made Patriot air defense system.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also said in a press release that the Russian Armed Forces take into account the addresses of diplomatic missions when planning strikes on Ukrainian territory.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the strikes that day were aimed at Ukraine's defense-industrial complex and energy infrastructure facilities. It was noted that "Dagger" hypersonic missiles and strike UAVs were used during the strikes.
