Pentagon pulls back National Guard troops

The Pentagon is withdrawing hundreds of National Guard troops from Chicago and Portland.

Axar.az informs that the New York Times reported this.

The Pentagon has decided to withdraw troops in the face of upcoming strikes and due to relevant federal court decisions.

At the same time, about 300 National Guard soldiers from Illinois will continue to be stationed in the Chicago area, while 200 soldiers from Oregon will remain in Portland.
