Azerbaijani Judoka wins gold at Zagreb Grand Prix

An Azerbaijani judoka won a gold medal at the Grand Prix held in the Croatian capital Zagreb.

Axar.az reports that on the last day of the competition, our national team won two awards.

Kenan Nasibov, who competed in the +100 kg weight category, defeated all his rivals and won the gold medal. He defeated Dutch athlete Juer Spaikers by ippon in the final.

Vugar Talibov, who competed in the 90 kg weight category, won the bronze medal, defeating his teammate Aslan Kotsoyev in the match for third place.

It should be noted that Huseyn Allahyarov (60 kg) previously won the bronze medal.

Thus, Azerbaijan, which won 1 gold and 2 bronze medals, took fifth place in the overall team score among 48 countries and fourth place in the men's competition.
