Australia rejects joint COP31 bid with Turkiye

Australia will not co-host the COP31 climate summit with Turkiye.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

"We will not co-host the summit because co-hosting is not provided for in the rules of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change," Albanese noted.
