Armenian and Syrian FMs discuss regional issues

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with his Syrian counterpart Asad Sheibani.

Axar.az reports that the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry published a statement on this.

According to the information, the parties discussed regional processes.

The Syrian Foreign Minister congratulated Mirzoyan on the initialing of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan as a result of the agreements reached in Washington on August 8. The ministers exchanged views on steps aimed at further strengthening peace.

Also, during the conversation, issues of developing bilateral relations were discussed, and an agreement was reached to activate political dialogue, mutual visits, and cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
