Azerbaijan's security directly connected to Turkiye

We will remain within the borders of our country and protect those borders with our blood and our lives, but no one can draw limits around our spiritual geography.

Axar.az informs this was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his speech at the AK Party parliamentary group meeting.

"We, as a nation, have military experience whose roots go back to centuries before the Common Era; we have experience in founding states, governing states, and building civilizations. History naturally places upon us an inheritance shaped by the experiences we possess. We cannot go to sleep one night and wake up the next morning as a nation freed from all our connections, bonds of brotherhood, heritage, and responsibilities. This is impossible. No one should attempt to twist my words in a different direction. I always say: we have no eye on any country’s territory, nor can we. The internal affairs of any country are not our concern. We have absolute respect for the independence of every nation. However, as we learned from our ancestors, we do not have the luxury of turning our backs on our spiritual geography, on humanity, or on human values."

Stating that the security of Palestine, Sudan, Azerbaijan, the TRNC, Iraq, Iran, and Ukraine is directly connected to Turkey’s security, Erdogan said that those with a narrow outlook will never be able to understand this vision.
