Putin dismisses claims Lavrov lost the Kremlin’s trust

Russian President Vladimir Putin has denied reports that Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has lost trust in the Kremlin.

Axar.az reports that he said that Lavrov is simply acting according to his own schedule and is currently preparing for a meeting with the US side.

It should be noted that earlier, the Moscow Times and the Financial Times reported that Lavrov had caused discontent in the Kremlin after unsuccessful negotiations with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

The cancellation of the Trump-Putin meeting was also linked to those negotiations.
