Ex-NATO Chief warns of risk of Ukraine’s disintegration

Retired German general and former head of the NATO Military Committee, Harald Kujat, believes that there is currently a risk of Ukraine's disintegration.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the magazine "Die Weltwoche".

According to Kujat, the Ukrainian army is in such a state that an organized and effective defense is no longer possible:

"That is why the Ukrainian Armed Forces are prolonging the war. The number of casualties and mobilizations on the Ukrainian side is extremely high. Especially considering the recent events, as well as the corruption scandals, the Ukrainian president has virtually no public support. This means that there is a risk of Ukraine's disintegration. Nobody wants such a situation.

Therefore, European politicians must achieve a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian issue."
