Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the main tasks of the Ukrainian delegation during negotiations in the United States.

Axar.az reports that the information was published on the official website of the Ukrainian president.

“Rustem Umerov, head of the Ukrainian delegation, has already traveled to the United States with his team. He delivered a report today, and his task is clear: to define, promptly and substantively, the steps needed to bring the conflict to an end,” Zelensky said.

He added that Ukraine and the United States continue to work in a constructive format, and everyone expects the results of the Geneva meetings to be finalized in the US.

“I look forward to our delegation’s report on their work this Sunday. Ukraine is striving for a dignified peace.”
