Pakistan to host new round of U.S.-Iran talks on July 11

A new round of negotiations between the United States and Iran is set to take place in Pakistan on July 11, as efforts continue to revive dialogue between the two countries.

Axar.az reports, citing Al Hadath, that the upcoming talks will focus on three key issues: U.S. sanctions on Iran, the release of Iran's frozen assets, and Tehran's nuclear program.

The level of representation of the Iranian delegation has not yet been finalized.

According to its sources, a decision will be made after the funeral ceremonies for former Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei conclude.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump said Washington had paused negotiations with Tehran for one week to allow for the funeral of former Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
