Russia proposes temporary truce in Kostiantynivka

Russia has proposed a temporary ceasefire in Kostiantynivka, saying it is prepared to conduct a humanitarian operation to transfer the bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers.

Axar.az reports that the Russian Defense Ministry announced the proposal in a post on its Telegram channel.

According to the ministry, Russia proposed that Ukraine halt shelling of Kostiantynivka from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Moscow time on July 6 to facilitate the operation.

The ministry also called on the Ukrainian side to inform the Russian command of its decision through existing special service communication channels by 12:00 p.m. Moscow time on July 5.
