Ukraine should seek peace without full victory

Ukraine should conclude a peace agreement without a complete victory.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the Ukrainian Ambassador to London, Valerii Zaluzhnyi.

“Of course, we Ukrainians strive for a complete victory. At the same time, peace offers a chance for political changes, deep reforms, full recovery, economic growth, and the return of citizens,” Zaluzhnyi said.

According to him, war does not always end with the victory of one side and the defeat of the other:

“This happened in the Second World War, but it is a rare exception, because in the history of mankind, it rarely happens. The vast majority of wars end either with mutual defeat, or with the certainty that everyone has won, or with another scenario.”
