Netanyahu seeks pardon amid corruption probe

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is under investigation for corruption, has formally requested a pardon from President Isaac Herzog.

Axar.az reports that the Office of the President of Israel released a statement on this.

The President's Office said that the Pardons Department of the Ministry of Justice will gather the opinions of all relevant departmental bodies and then send their recommendations to the Attorney General.
