Ex-Italian Official: Moscow–Delhi reshaping world order

Russia and India are playing a leading role in the reshaping of the world order, and Washington is no longer the only decision-making center.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Vito Petrocelli, the former head of the foreign affairs commission of the upper house of the Italian parliament, while commenting on the visit of the Russian president to India.

He emphasized that the chairmanship of the BRICS is being transferred to India, and it is she who will determine the priority issues of the group for 2026. In this regard, the timing of the visit is not accidental, but important for “aligning the clocks”:

“Numerous events will be held throughout the year, and at these events, the basis for the joint declaration of the leaders at the final summit to be held in 2026 will be prepared.”

It should be noted that on December 4, Putin left for India for a two-day state visit.
