FBI thwarts New Year’s eve terror plot in Los Angeles

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced that it had foiled a terrorist plot planned for New Year's Eve in Los Angeles.

Axar.az reports that four people have been arrested in connection with this. They identified themselves as pro-Palestinian and a radical branch of the Turtle Island Liberation Front (TILF).

According to the FBI, they planned coordinated bomb attacks using improvised explosive devices at five separate locations in Los Angeles on New Year's Eve. According to the statement, a fifth person, believed to be affiliated with the same TILF extremist group, was arrested in New Orleans on suspicion of planning another attack.
