Ukraine blows up Russian submarine in Novorossiysk

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) carried out another unique special operation, blowing up a Russian Navy submarine "Varshavyanka" in the port of "Novorossiysk".

Axar.az reports that this operation was organized jointly by the 13th Main Directorate of Military Counterintelligence of the SBU and the Ukrainian Navy.

According to the information, the submarine received critical damage as a result of the explosion and was practically disabled. On board the submarine were four launchers for "Kalibr" cruise missiles, which the Russians use to strike Ukrainian territory.

It was reported that the cost of one "Varshavyanka" class submarine is about 400 million US dollars.
