Putin warns of military action if diplomacy is fails

Moscow would prefer to resolve the root causes of the Russia–Ukraine conflict through diplomacy, but if talks are refused, Russia will resort to military operations.

Axar.az reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin said this at an expanded meeting of the Defence Ministry’s collegium.

He stated that behind Ukraine stands the potential of NATO countries, including large-scale military assistance, the transfer of intelligence data, and the involvement of instructors and mercenaries.

Putin also emphasized that Russia’s strategic nuclear forces will continue to play a key role in global deterrence and in maintaining the balance of power.
