Putin accuses Europe of stoking hysteria over Russia

European politicians are stoking “hysteria” and spreading fears of an inevitable confrontation with Russia, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during an expanded meeting of the Ministry of Defense collegium.

Axar.az informs, citing TASS, “In Europe, people are being fed fears about an unavoidable clash with Russia, as if they must prepare for a major war. Some figures, who either once held or still hold positions of responsibility, seem to have forgotten their duties. They are guided by short-term personal or group political interests rather than the interests of their people, and they are steadily raising the level of hysteria,” Putin said.
