US Police sparked a confrontation with Egypt’s national team director Ibrahim Hassan, as players posed for a photo with a young fan at their hotel in Dallas.

Axar.az reports, citing the Sun, fan footage shows Egyptian football player Trezeguet signing a shirt and snapping a selfie with a youngster when team director Ibrahim Hassan walks over to join him.

But things escalated rapidly when a security officer marched towards Hassan and appeared to shove him backwards.

There was more grappling as Egypt players and staff jumped in, with the officer repeatedly shouting: “Back off!”

The melee lasted for around 30 seconds until several fuming members of the Egypt camp were whisked off the scene.
