Diplomatic accommodation damaged in Kyiv strike

Accommodation used by diplomatic personnel was damaged during Russia’s overnight missile and drone attack on Kyiv on July 2.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters, that European Union Ambassador to Ukraine Katarina Mathernova said Russia had struck accommodation used by diplomatic personnel during the attack.

“Russia unleashed hell on Kyiv overnight,” Mathernova said.

According to the report, the diplomats were unharmed, but their personal belongings were damaged in a fire caused by the strike.
