Trump, Netanyahu agree to meet in US soon

U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke by phone and agreed to hold a meeting in the United States in the near future.

Axar.az reports, citing Times of Israel, that during the conversation, Netanyahu congratulated Trump on the upcoming 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.

“The US is what ensures the freedom of the world, and Israel greatly appreciates the tight bond between the nations,” Netanyahu said.

The statement added that “Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump agreed to meet soon in the US.”
