Armenia, France sign 2026 defense cooperation program

The Armenian and French defense ministries have signed a defense cooperation program for 2026.

Axar.az reports that Armenian media reported on this.

According to the information, the defense cooperation program includes several events:

“The document was signed as a result of bilateral strategic consultations held in Paris on December 15-16. Levon Ayvazyan, Head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense, headed the Armenian delegation. During the consultations, Ayvazyan met with Guillaume Olanier, the recently appointed Head of the International Relations and Strategy Department at the French Ministry of Defense. The next strategic consultations will be held in Yerevan.”
