Iran to launch national messengers amid protests

Iran plans to activate national messaging applications following the shutdown of the internet amid ongoing protests.

Axar.az reports, citing the IRIB agency, that approved channels will soon become active on the Bale, Rubika, Soroush Plus, and Igap messaging platforms.

According to the report, so far only Iran’s official media channels have been allowed to operate.
