Ukraine thanks Aliyev for new energy aid

Thanks were expressed to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for the latest humanitarian aid provided to Ukraine’s energy sector.

Axar.az reports that Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal said Azerbaijan has donated new energy equipment worth one million dollars to Ukraine.

“The Republic of Azerbaijan has sent another humanitarian aid package worth about one million dollars to Ukraine for the energy sector. I am grateful to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov for their support and solidarity,” Shmyhal emphasized.

According to him, this significant assistance will make an important contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s energy resilience amid ongoing air strikes.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan has previously sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine in the field of electricity supply. The total value of Azerbaijan’s humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, including recovery and reconstruction-oriented aid, has now exceeded 45 million US dollars.
