Elon Musk: AI could surpass humanity by 2031

Artificial intelligence could potentially be smarter than all of humanity by 2031.

Axar.az reports that Elon Musk stated this at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

"At this rate of development, I think we will have an artificial intelligence that is smarter than every person by the end of the year or next year at the latest. Then, probably in 2030 or 2031, that is, within five years, it will be smarter than all of humanity," he said.

In April 2023, Musk founded the startup "xAI", which is engaged in the development of artificial intelligence. A few months later, an artificial intelligence-based chatbot called "Grok" was introduced.

The creators of the project claim that this product differs from its analogues in the absence of censorship and provides access to up-to-date information in real time.
