Putin’s meeting with Witkoff and Kushner lasted 4 hours

The meeting at the Kremlin between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President’s special envoy Steve Witkoff, along with businessman Jared Kushner, was highly substantive, constructive, and extremely frank and trusting.

Axar.az informs this was stated by Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov during a briefing.

The talks, which focused primarily on a settlement in Ukraine, lasted about four hours. Moscow and Washington agreed that the first meeting of a trilateral working group involving Russia, the United States, and Ukraine on security issues will take place on January 23 in Abu Dhabi (UAE).

The sides also discussed the Gaza Peace Council, Greenland, and the development of bilateral relations, and agreed to maintain close contacts on the Ukrainian issue and other topics.
