Overnight, the Ukrainian military struck an arsenal belonging to the Russian Armed Forces’ Missile and Artillery Directorate near the village of Kotluban in Volgograd Oblast.

Axar.az infroms according to Russian media, Volgograd Governor Andrey Bocharov said residents of Kotluban are being evacuated to ensure civilian safety.

“Shells landed in the area of the Defense Ministry facility near Kotluban, causing a fire. Regional firefighting services and the Ministry of Defense are working to extinguish it,” Bocharov said.

Local residents also reported explosions and large fires near the military site.
