Zelensky, NATO chief discuss trilateral peace talks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke by phone with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

Axar.az reports that Zelensky shared the update on his Telegram channel.

During the conversation, the leaders discussed ongoing trilateral peace negotiations. Zelensky noted that they “coordinated our positions on all major diplomatic issues” and expressed satisfaction that their views aligned on many topics.

“I spoke with Mark Rutte. We coordinated our positions on all key issues of our diplomatic work. I am glad that in many matters our views align with Mark’s. I spoke about preparing the next trilateral format with the U.S. and Russia, and what we know about possible changes in the parties’ positions. We discussed the energy situation and the need for further work under the PURL program. I am grateful to every European country that invests in our defense through PURL. Mark, thank you for your support!”
