Next trilateral Ukraine-Russia talks could be this week

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine is actively preparing for the next round of trilateral peace talks with Russia, expected within 10 days in Geneva.

Axar.az, citing Ukrinform, reports that in an evening address, he noted discussions with Rustem Umerov on negotiation preparations and emphasized coordination with European partners to ensure their involvement strengthens the process.

Zelensky also instructed the National Security and Defense Council to enhance cooperation with Middle Eastern countries and Turkiye, aiming to increase international support for Ukraine.

He stressed that Ukraine is committed to peace and will take all necessary measures to achieve meaningful results, while attributing the previous lack of progress to Russia’s stance.
