Ex-Norwegian PM Jagland hospitalized, suicide reports denied

Former Norwegian Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland (75) has been admitted to hospital, his lawyer Anders Brosveet of Elden Advokatfirma confirmed.

Axar.az reports, citing Norwegian media, that the hospitalization is reportedly due to stress following media attention and scrutiny over Jagland’s contacts with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Brosveet denied reports in outlets including iNyheter and Finansavisen that Jagland had attempted suicide, stating:

“The information now circulated publicly about Jagland’s health situation is not correct.”
