Iran has capped range of its missiles below 2,000KM

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that decades of U.S. hostility toward Iran stem from the 1979 Islamic Revolution and a persistent cycle of misunderstanding and external influence, particularly by Israeli lobbies, rather than direct engagement with Iranian society.

Axar.az reports that in an exclusive interview with India Today, he outlined how the U.S. attempted coups, supported the Iraq-Iran war, imposed sanctions, and applied “maximum pressure” over the past 47 years, all of which failed.

Araghchi emphasized that Iran remains open to improved relations if the U.S. adopts a respectful approach toward the Iranian people, stating that dialogue should be conducted with mutual respect.

He also rejected claims that Iran is developing missiles capable of reaching the U.S., calling them “fake news,” and claimed that Iran’s missile range is intentionally capped at 2,000 km for defensive purposes.

Araghchi blamed Israel and the U.S. for regional conflicts and stated that Iran will continue maintaining defensive capabilities.
