Turkiye denies plans to enter Iran amid U.S. tensions

Rеports suggesting that Turkiye intends to enter Iranian territory for security purposes in the event of a U.S. strike on Iran are false.

Axar.az reports that the Turkish Ministry of National Defense addressed the issue.

"As Turkiye, our efforts to resolve all conflicts in our region through peaceful means and to establish lasting stability continue. At the same time, necessary measures are being taken in coordination with the relevant institutions of our state against potential risks.

Claims appearing in some press and social media reports that “Turkiye plans to enter Iranian territory for security reasons in the event of a U.S. attack on Iran” do not reflect the truth."
