Russia still weighing stance on Board of Peace

Russia’s Foreign Ministry is still working on Moscow’s position regarding the U.S.-initiated Board of Peace and potential Russian participation in it, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing.

Axar.az informs “The Foreign Ministry is still formulating its position,” Peskov noted.

He added that a number of countries, including those friendly to Russia, hold differing and sometimes ambiguous views on the council, all of which are being taken into account.

It is worth noting that U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed hope that Russia and China will join the Board of Peace.
