Pakistan declares open war on Afghan Taliban

Islamabad declared open war against the Taliban government in Afghanistan.

Axar.az reports that Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has stated that the country is entering into open conflict with the Taliban regime on X.

"Pakistan made every effort, directly and through friendly countries, to keep the situation normal. It carried out full-scale diplomacy. But the Taliban became India’s proxy. Today, when Pakistan is being targeted by aggression, Alhamdulillah our forces are giving a decisive response.

In the past, Pakistan’s role has been positive. We have hosted 5 million Afghans for 50 years. Even today, hundreds of thousands of Afghans are earning their livelihood on our land. Our cup of patience has overflowed. Now it is open war between us and you. Pakistan’s army has not come from overseas. We are your neighbors; we know your ins and outs," the post on X reads.

It should be noted that armed clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan began yesterday.
