Beersheba mayor orders opening of public shelters

Amid growing security concerns and heightened regional tensions, Ruvik Danilovich, the Mayor of Beersheba, Israel, has instructed that all public shelters in the city be opened.

Axar.az, citing local media, notes that this exceptional measure is part of increased preparedness and reflects a practical response to fears of regional escalation.

The move comes shortly after a stark advisory from the U.S. Embassy, which urged American citizens to consider leaving Israel immediately while flights remain available, a warning that has further raised vigilance.
