U.S. conducts Minuteman III missile test launch

The United States Air Force conducted a test launch of an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile.

Axar.az informs, according to Air Force Global Strike Command, the missile was launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California toward a test range in the Marshall Islands.

Air Force officials said the launch was scheduled years in advance and was not connected to current global events.

The Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile has a range of 12,000 km.
