Turkiye leaves nothing to chance on border security

During these difficult days our region is going through, we leave nothing to chance when it comes to the security of our borders and airspace.

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this while commenting on the missile that was neutralized.

“As in this morning’s incident, we take all necessary measures in close consultation with our NATO allies and respond immediately. We also issue our warnings as clearly as possible to prevent similar incidents from happening again,” Erdogan added.

It should be noted that the Turkish Ministry of National Defense announced that a ballistic missile launched from Iran and detected heading toward Turkish airspace was neutralized by NATO air and missile defense systems stationed in the Eastern Mediterranean.
