U.S. President Donald Trump slammed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, stating he is “far more difficult to make a deal with” than Russian President Vladimir Putin over efforts to end the war in Ukraine.

Axar.az reports, citing NBC, U.S. President Donald Trump said “I’m surprised that Zelensky doesn’t want to make a deal. Tell Zelensky to make a deal because Putin’s willing to make a deal.”

Zelensky, earlier this month, offered to assist U.S. forces and their allies in the Middle East by sharing Ukraine’s experience in intercepting Iranian drones, drawing on the military’s expertise with shooting down Russian drones.

However Trump responded that “we don’t need help,” adding that Zelensky was “the last person we need help from.”
