Russia protests Israeli strikes near Bushehr reactor

Russia reportedly contacted Israel to protest a series of Israeli strikes that Moscow says targeted areas near the Bushehr nuclear reactor in Iran, close to where Russian experts are stationed.

Axar.az reports, citing Ynet, the protest was communicated via the Russian embassy in Israel.

It should be noted that Bushehr is Iran’s only operational nuclear power plant, whose construction was supported by Russia over many years.

Russian engineers and specialists work at the plant continuously, participating in both its operation and the construction of new units.
