Iran’s strike on Dimona was symbolic, says analyst

Iran's strike on the area of the nuclear center in Israel's Dimona was demonstrative.

Axar.az reports that Russian military analyst, Yuri Knutov, stated that the Iranians used a missile with a small warhead.

“It was a symbolic strike. Meaning, if you continue attacks on our strategic facilities, we will strike yours with a missile that will have a completely different warhead and much greater power. And maybe not just one missile,” the expert explained.

It is noted that on March 21, Iran launched an attack on Dimona, located in southern Israel and home to one of the country’s two main nuclear sites. Previously, the U.S. and Israel had struck Iran’s Natanz uranium enrichment facility.
