Gold futures drop to $4,340 on COMEX

Gold dropped over 8% on Monday, reaching its lowest level in four months.

Axar.az reports that April gold futures on COMEX, a division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, have declined to $4,340.70 per ounce.

This marks the first drop to this level since January 5.

It is noted that on March 17, the price of one ounce of gold had surpassed $5,000.
