Pezeshkian thanks Erdogan for stance on regional crisis

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has expressed his gratitude to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his firm stance regarding the ongoing regional crisis.

Axar.az reports that Pezeshkian shared his appreciation in a post on his official X account.

"The resolute positions of my brother, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkiye, in condemning the warmongering Zionist regime [Israel] are commendable. The zealous people of the friendly and brotherly country of Turkiye have for many years played a steadfast role in the path of solidarity with the cause of the Islamic Ummah. By divine grace, we will traverse this proud path together."

The message comes at a time of heightened regional tension and follows a series of high-level diplomatic communications between Tehran and Ankara.
