Kurtulmush: Guns will fall silent in Turkiye forever

From now on, the guns will fall silent on these lands forever.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Numan Kurtulmush made the remarks.

He said that once the National Solidarity and Social Unity Bill, which is set to be submitted to parliament next week, is adopted, the era of armed conflict in Turkiye will come to an end.

"With the complete dissolution of terrorist organizations and the laying down of arms by all armed elements, this law will usher in a new era for Turkiye," he said.
